CHAIRPERSON NANAS ATTENDS EMPOWERMENT OF 600 WOMEN

On 23rd-December-2024, Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, wife of Kebbi State Governor & Chairperson NANAS, attended a flagship program empowering 600 women in Kwashpap mix production, organized by Hajiya Amina Umar A. Namadi, wife of Jigawa State Governor. The event aimed to combat malnutrition and empower women.

The program began with a visit to the Sarkin Dutse Palace, where Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu and Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda, wife of Katsina State Governor alongside the host, wife of Jigawa State Governor, Hajiya Amina Umar A. Namadi sought the blessings and prayers of Alhaji Hamim Nuhu Sanusi. The Emir commended their efforts in empowering women and offered them appreciation gifts.

At the flagship program, speakers emphasized the importance of Kwashpap mix in combating malnutrition. Mallam Auwal Sansani, State coordinator Hamdan Kasiran OVC and Women Assistance Foundation, in his welcome address, expressed his gratitude to the guests and emphasized the importance of empowering women in combating malnutrition.

Hajiya Fatima Dikko Radda commended Hajiya Amina Umar Namadi for her efforts in empowering women and combating malnutrition. She urged the beneficiaries to take full advantage of the training and empowerment program.

In her speech, she highlighted the numerous benefits of kwashpap mix for children, emphasizing its role in promoting healthy growth and development.

She also encouraged the beneficiaries of the program to make the most of the skills they acquired, urging them to utilize their newfound knowledge to improve their livelihoods and contribute positively to their communities.
