
In her address, the wife of the Governor, Dr Nafisa Nasir Idris expressed delight over the hard work of some care providers in the implementation of KECHEMA, calling on them to maitain the tempo.
She appreciated her husband for his support and contribution to improving the health care system in the state, calling on people to rally round the present administration for more dividends of democracy.

In his speech, the State Commisioner of health,Comrade Yunusa Musa Isma’il, acknowledged the efforts of KECHEMA and NANAS foundation in providing health care services to the vulnerables in the state, describing them as partners in progress.
In their separate speeches, the permanent secretary ministary of health, Dr Shehu Nuhu Koko and Executive Secretary KECHEMA, Dr Ja’afar Muhammad Augie, highlighted the benefits of ensuring that students get access to quality health care within and outside their academic environment, without the risk of financial burden on their parents.

Dignitaries who attended the event were Wives of the Duputy Governor, SSG, Commissioners, Chairmen, medical personnel, provost of college of nursing and midwifery and health care students, NANAS foundation and Elders forum.


Highlights of the event were cash donation of one million naira to the students of college of nursing and midwifery by the wife of the Governor, presentation of drugs and consumables to best performing health facilities.
