In the efforts of the wife of the Governor of Kebbi State, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris Kauran Gwandu, she encouraged women for business and rely on themselves, she gave 500 women a bag of groundnuts and thirty thousand (30,000) for each woman.
Before launching the grant, the wife of the governor of Kebbi state began by paying a courtesy visit to the palace of His Majesty the Emir of Yauri, Dr. Zayyanu Abdullahi to seek blessings and prayers. In his speech, the Emir of Yauri expressed his satisfaction with the efforts of the Kebbi State Government for the people of Yauri. He thanked the honorable wife of the governor of Kebbi State for her efforts to support the women of Yauri and the surrounding area so that they can rely on themselves. Mata Zallah and Tafidan Yauri Movement under the leadership of the Secretary to the Government, Alhaji Bala Tafidan Yauri donated 300 JAMB forms to the people of Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski as their contribution during the meeting.
The wife of the Secretary of State, Hajiya Asma’u Alkali congratulated the Governor of Kebbi State and the wife of the Governor of Kebbi State, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris for the progress they have made in Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski where she described the progress as “they are beginning to see the light”. .
In her speech, the Honorable Wife of the Governor of Kebbi State thanked God for showing her this day and she thanked her husband, the Honorable Governor of Kebbi State for his contribution and support.
She added that, during the election campaign, she promised to support the women of Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski and in the power of God, she came to fulfill her promise to support five hundred women of Yauri, Shanga and Ngaski. She called on those who benefited from the support to use the investment they got in the right way. She further thanked the Secretary of State, Alhaji Bala Tafidan Yauri for his contribution.
She promised that the support of women has now started, there will be thousands of blessings in the future for the people of Kebbi State.
