Nafisa Nasir Charity Development Foundation (NANAS) in collaboration with the Kebbi Youth Development Association (KYDA) has successfully organized a cash grant empowerment program for 300 youths in Kangiwa, Arewa Local Government.
The program, aimed at promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship among youths, provided financial support of N30,000 each to 300 beneficiaries, enabling them to start or expand their small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The event was attended by prominent stakeholders, including the Representative of the Honorable Chairman of Arewa Local Government, Hon. Sani Aliyu Tella, Representative of Hon. Nuraddeen Usman Kangiwa, House of Assembly member Arewa Local Government, Hon. Muhammadu Hamidu “Jarkuka” Commissioner ministry for Humanitarian affairs and empowerment, and Alh. Yusuf Sulaiman Zango (Mai Arewa Kangiwa).
The State Chairman of KYDA, Comr. Mubashir Muhammed, welcomed participants and described the program as a testament to the organization’s commitment to youth empowerment. He advised youths to utilize the grant wisely and pursue education to enhance their skills.
The Representative of the Honorable Chairman of Arewa Local Government, Hon. Sani Aliyu Tella, praised the initiative and expressed gratitude to the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris (Kauran Gwandu), and his wife, Haj. Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris, for supporting youths towards the present administration.
