Nafisa Nasiru Charity Development Foundation (NANAS) has distributed food items to people of Malala Quarters in Birnin kebbi as part of effort to ameliorate the suffering of the people occasioned by the removal of subsidy.
Distributing the food items, the Chairman of the foundation, Alhaji Aminuddeen Attahiru said the aim of distributing the food items was to bring soccour to the lives of vulnerable women and children in the society.
In her remarks, one of the beneficiaries, Hajiya Amina Haruna commended the wife of the Governor for distributing the food items to the people of the area, saying the gesture came at the right time when people are in dire need of such assistance and prayed to Allah to bless her abundantly.
Highlight at the event was distribution of food items which includes Rice, Millet and Guinea Corn.
