
Wife of the State Governor, Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris and Founder NANAS, has empowered residents of Shiyar Fada and Junju areas in Birnin Kebbi as part of her humanitarian gesture to the people of the state.
In her address at the occasion, Dr. Nafisa Nasir Idris expressed delight and thanked Allah for giving her the opportunity to contribute and support the less privileged, saying the program was aimed at helping the the vulnerables at Shiyyar fada/Junju area, which she described as her home, adding that plans are on the way for more empowerment programs to the Fada/Junju community.
She applauded her husband for his efforts and support in uplifting the standard of the vulnerable.



In his speech, the State Accountant General, Alh. Bello Nahaliku, (Amirun Zoramawa) congratulated and praised Dr Nafisa Nasir for touching the lives of people positively in Fada/Junju area, praying to Allah to bless her abundantly, announcing a cash donation of 2-million naira and three motorcycles.
In his welcome address, Alh Shehu Dankano, appreciated the wife of the Governor for the kind gesture, reiterating total support to the wife of the Governor and the present administration from the people of Fada/Junju area.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of others, thanked Dr Nafisa Nasir for touching their lives positively, praying to Allah to bless her.
The wife of the Governor donated motorcycles to her five Quranic teachers while growing up as well as #100,000 each, while wife of Deputy Governor donated #500,000 and Alh. Khairullah Abdullahi, #250, 000.




The event had in attendance, wives of Deputy Governor, Accountant General, Commissioners, NANAS Foundation and Elders forum.
Highlights of the event were presentations of Deep freezers, Sewing machines, Bags of Rice and #10,000 to 200 women and clothings to 200 orphans and vulnerables.
