In her speech, the wife of Kebbi State Governor, Dr Nafisa Nasir Idris, thanked Allah for sparing their lives to witness yet another Pre -Ramadan lecture which was first initiated by the immediate past Governor’s wife, Dr Zainab Shinkafi Bagudu and prayed to Allah to bless her abundantly.
She expressed delight over the successful completion of the Pre-Ramadan lectures, and appreciated her August visitor, wife of Jigawa state Governor for attending the event and wished her a safe return to her home.
She also appreciated her husband, the Kebbi state Governor, Dr Nasir Idris, for his support, encouragement and uplifting the standards of the people in the state,
Calling on people to rally round the present administration for more dividends of democracy.
In her remarks, the wife of Jigawa state Governor, Hajiya Amina Namadi, commended Dr Nafisa Nasir for organizing the lectures, which she described as rewarding in Islam, promising to introduce similar program in Jigawa state.
Malama Juwairiyya Usman, Malama Zainab Jafar Adam and Malama Hauwa’u Abubakar Zaki, who delivered lectures on Envy, Fear of Allah and Benefits of Ramadan, called on the Ummah to fear Allah in all their dealings and be steadfast in worshiping him for the benefits there in.
The Pre -Ramadan lectures had the attendance of wives of Deputy Governor, SSG, Commissioners, APC stalwarts, SA media to the Governor, SA Sustainable Development Goals to the Governor, NANAS foundation and Elders forum.
Highlights of the lectures were good will messages, recitation from the holy Quran, special prayer and distribution of #20,000 cash and 10kg of Rice to 500 women.
In an interview with newsmen, wife of Jigawa state Governor, Hajiya Amina Namadi, commended the Kebbi state Governor, Dr Nasir Idris and his wife Dr Nafisa Nasir for bringing more development to Kebbi state.
