Nafisa Nasiru charity development foundation (NANAS) has distributed food items and other essential commodities to Kebbi State Orphanage in the Ministry of Women and Social Development Birnin kebbi.
Recieving the items, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad Maikurata, thanked the Wife of the Governor for the kind gesture and prayed to Allah to bless and reward her abundantly.
She added that the assistance came at the right time as the Ministry is facing feeding challenges considering the hike of prices of food stuffs in the market, calling on the State Government to look into the matter urgently.
In her remarks ,the founder of the foundation and wife of the state Governor, Hajiya Nafisa Nasir Idris, who was represented by Chairperson women wing of ANCOPPS, Kebbi State, Hajiya Salamatu Tafida said she brought the items to contribute her quota in feeding the Orphans which the foundation has been offering to the society since its inception,
Promising that the State Government will do something about their plea made by the permanent secretary.
Highlight at occasion was presentation of items which includes food items, soaps detergents, blankets, Diapers and cooking oils.
